Incursion Red River Resource Guide
Resource searches cluster around metal, concrete, food and oil. Target one upgrade, run one purpose-built route, and treat exact spawns as patch-sensitive.
Commonly searched resources
A dated community demonstration shows all four categories. Patch 1.4 also changed loot placement and introduced a broader food-and-drink system.
- Metal
- Safehouse-upgrade demand
- Concrete
- Construction and progression demand
- Food
- Can mean a resource, survival item or mission target
- Oil
- Often searched as cans or resource nodes
A repeatable collection method
- Pin one safehouse upgrade and note only its missing material.
- Choose a map and infil that fit the current mission.
- Look and listen for current resource cues rather than copying a stale coordinate.
- Extract once the target quantity is secured.
- Confirm the requirement before selling or consuming items.
Resources versus mission containers
“Destroy food containers” is a mission interaction, not necessarily a request to gather food. Follow the objective verb: destroy, place, scan and retrieve require different actions. Terminals, jammers and storage containers are not interchangeable.

Quick answers
Where is the best metal location?+
No permanent “best” location is verified here for patch 1.4; use a current route and extract once the target is met.
Are food resources and food-storage containers the same?+
Not always. Read the mission verb and completion feedback.
